Introduction:

The training is aimed at intensive training, practical skills training, personal growth and supervision of therapy of participants. The internships are also an attempt to offer much more value for money.

Understand the theory of CBT and RECBT

Understand the practical application of CBT and RECBT in Depression, anxiety & personality disorders.

Internship structure

The internship is divided into four weeks with different objectives of every week.

A total of 6 hours training//supervision is given by Dr. Shishir and rest of the 24 hours is given by the internship director (s) 

COURSE CONTENT

Learning Basic CBT and RECBT

History taking, cognitive conceptualisation. Exploring the scope of CBT and RECBT in the community. Taking up one assignment. The assignment is formulating an Intervention plan in the area of interest. Preparing full modules of the compulsory individual and common assignments.

Attending CBT and RECBT lectures delivered by Dr. Shishir Palsapure (total 6 hours on a single day) and rest of the lectures by Internship directors- Rohan Pande and Yogita Chhablani Pande.

All interns will be given 5 questions of CBT and RECBT each on the first day of internship. The recommended books are listed at the bottom of the page, and must be ordered ASAP. 

The interns will have to write essay type answers and submit answers at the end of the fist week of internship. Of course, the answers can be written with the books and 'Google open'.

All interns will report to the Internship Director.

2. Peer counselling: Participants will also facilitate the therapy of fellow interns in peer counselling. Refining your own therapy. Presenting cases, getting feedback. 

Certificates will be awarded only after-

• Full completion of assignments
• Passing the written test online (MCQs)
• Passing the practical test: (Supervision of two sessions by Dr Shishir Palsapure)
• Submission of 5 full cases.

Accommodation and food: Since this training is online, you need to stay indoors at your home and manage your own food :)

Eligibility:

BA or any graduation in Psychology, Social work, Nursing, Medicine, alternative medicine including Homeopathy, Ayurveda. Participants must have completed their graduation before they sign up for the program. Participants who have completed post graduation in Psychology, psychiatry, social work or Nursing are also eligible and preferred.

Investment:-

INR 18,500/- per participant (includes handout soft copy) for 15 day training (30 hours)

Dr. Shishir Palsapure– Dr. Shishir Palsapure MD MSc a practising psychotherapist with vast experience, he is an Associate Fellow, Rational-Emotive & Cognitive Behavior Therapy supervisor certified by the prestigious Albert Ellis Institute, New York, NY, USA. He is Director of Albert Ellis Institute Affiliated Training Centre, India. He also received his training at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research, Philadelphia, USA. He will deliver a total 6 hours of lectures in the first part of the training followed by Supervision towards the end of it.

Rohan Pande- Rohan Pande is Founder and Director at ‘Rationally Yours.’ He is a psychotherapist, highly trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) & Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (RECBT). He has received his advanced RECBT certification from Albert Ellis Institute, New York. USA.

Rohan is also certified trainer from American Tesol Institute, USA. He is known for his in-depth knowledge of subject & simple methods of teaching.

Yogita Chhablani Pande- Yogita Chhablani is a Psychotherapist & Image Consultant. She is the co-founder at ‘Rationally Yours’ & is Pune’s Satellite Office Head at ‘Morphic Minds an Affiliated Training Centre of Albert Ellis Institute’ She has received her advanced RECBT certification from Albert Ellis Institute, New York. USA.

Yogita is also certified by Image management Professional Association (IMPA) & Conselle Institute of Image Management, USA and SQA (Scottish Qualification Authority) for soft skills.

How the training will be delivered:

Participants will be sent links to the web based lecture each day.

Participatns will be divided into groups during peer counselling and supervision by Dr. Shishir Palsapure

Lectures will start at 11:00 am sharp till 1:00 pm

Supervision will be done on May 22nd 2020 11:00 am to 5 pm.
